Improved Hyperion Fencing - What's New?

Hyperion wood-plastic composite fencing is back with a new and improved design. Its added features give more versatility in design and style. With continued product feedback and testing, Hyperion fencing is now also easier to install than ever before. Discover all that is new below.

The new Hyperion Fencing system

Additional colours for posts and accessories

All the new and existing Hyperion Fencing coloursOne of the main new features is that Hyperion fencing posts and accessories are now available in oak, walnut, stone and granite. It is now easier than ever to create a sleek design with matching colours for panels, posts and accessories. You could also create an innovative contrasting frame making your fencing a real eye-catcher in your garden or outdoor space. With most Hyperion Pioneer colours available across fencing, decking and cladding, you can also mix and match across the ranges. The possibilities are endless.

Taller posts for sloped gardens

The new 2.4m postsAfter rigorous product testing to ensure Hyperion fencing’s quality does not diminish, the fence posts are now a much-desired 2.4 metres tall. The posts are still easy to cut down with standard woodworking tools making installations on slopes much easier. While we do recommend a fence height of 1.8m which would need 12 panels*, additional panels are available for those who prefer a taller fence. All of the Hyperion fence posts now also come with two post inserts in the same colour as the posts for a seamless finish.

Wood-plastic composite panel caps for a streamlined fence

Hyperion fencing’s panel caps are now entirely made from wood-plastic composite. Available in a variety of colours, you can now create a sleek finish or easily assemble a frame for your fencing panels. They are also engineered from the same materials as the rest of the fencing system meaning that they are made from up to 60% FSC certified recycled eucalyptus wood fibre and 30% recycled plastic.

Installation of the panel caps is now screwless. The easy-to-use panel clips are simply inserted into the panel cap and seamlessly slide down the fence posts holding the panels in place. Please read our installation guide here for more information.

Innovative sustainable composition

Hyperion fencing recycled contentSimilar to our other Hyperion products, Hyperion fencing is engineered from up to 60% FSC certified recycled wood. This does not only mean that the wood has been harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious and economically viable, but also that the FSC certified wood used, in this case eucalyptus fibre, is recycled. The other 30% is recycled High-Density Polyethylene, a thermoplastic polymer, and about 10% environmentally gentle bonding agent, additives and tint. Hyperion Fencing gives these materials saved from landfill value by recycling them into a long life, high-quality product. In addition to this, 10% of our profits made by Hyperion fencing and all our other products are donated to sustainable causes such as The Rainforest Trust UK.

* We recommend a fence post height of 1.8 metres, which would fit 12 panels, as it is not allowed to raise a fence higher than 2 metres in height without building permission in the UK. You should also ensure that your fencing is installed on your side of the property boundary.
